LCL 307 and 308 QQ	This girl and her sister (look identical) were our first Texel ewes purchased from Little Creek Lambs of Oregon in 2003 as ewe lambs . They are more of the Dutch type of Texel, shorter height and length but very muscular and easy fleshing. They are the first to get fat on grass of all of our ewes each year. Neg OPP so far. 	LCL 311 QR	This girl joined our flock in 2003 as a ewe lamb from Little Creek Lambs in Oregon. She's been one of our top producing ewes ever since. 	HESS 0363 RR	This ewe joined our flock in 2004 from Hess Sheep Farm in Kansas as a yearling. Her ewe lambs stay in our flock as keepers. She has a very funny fleece, crimpy and curly, not a typical Texel fleece. Neg. OPP. Lambing Record: 05 TW, 06 TW, 07 TR Unfortunately, we lost this ewe spring 2007. Kept one of her two 2007 daughters!
	HESS 0397 RR	This girl joined our flock in 2004 as a yearling from Hess Sheep Farm in Kansas. She's a beauty! She's totally line-bred and we have continued that type of breeding with her and have produced some very muscled, wide, typey Texels with her. Neg. OPP. Lambing Record: 05 TW, 06 TW, 07 TR

	PORTLAND PRAIRIE 4110 Ribeye scan at 145 lb. = 3.1 sq. in. Backfat .27"	This ewe joined us in 2006 as a 2-year-old from Portland Prairie Texels in Minnesota. She's an embryo transfer birth with completely imported bloodlines from the UK and the Netherlands. Callerton's Hot Spur is her sire and Annan Won O Won (both UK rams) is her dam's sire. She has tested negative for OPP. She will be genotyped soon. We're very excited to have this ewe join our flock. This ewe's 2006 ram lamb was high selling ram at the 2007 National Texel Show and Sale, sold by Portland Prairie Texels of Minnesota. Lambing Record: 07 TW, 08 TW
	PORTLAND PRAIRIE 436 Ribeye scan at 147 lb = 3.3 sq. in. Backfat .16"	This ewe joined us in 2006 as a 2 year-old from Portland Prairie Texels in Minnesota. She's an embryo transfer birth with imported semen from Commanduer 03938-02545 (the Netherlands) as her sire and Annan Won O Won (UK) as her dam's sire. We will genotype her soon. 	CCS 0601 RR Ribeye scan 2.4 sq. in. at 104 lb.	Line-bred Hess ewe. Dam is Hess 0363, Sire Hess 0352. This girl is muscled up with great genetics and good growth. Unfortunately, we lost her sister to a coyote kill and these were hand picked by me at a few weeks old to stay in the flock. Lambing Record: 07 S, 08 TW

These are the Texel lambs we held back as ewe flock additions in 2007. Most were triplets but all bred up and are lambing spring 2008. We're only expecting singles out of these girls in their first year.
